Is the Word of God preached in the place where we gather? (Part I)

2 Corinthians 2:14-17
"We thank God for the power Christ has given us. He leads us and makes us win in everything. He speaks through us wherever we go. The Good News is like a sweet smell to those who hear it. We are a sweet smell of Christ that reaches up to God. It reaches out to those who are being saved from the punishment of sin and to those who are still lost in sin. It is the smell of death to those who are lost in sin. It is the smell of life to those who are being saved from the punishment of sin. Who is able for such a work? We are not like others. They preach God’s Word to make money. We are men of truth and have been sent by God. We speak God’s Word with Christ’s power. All the time God sees us."

The title does not seem to make sense but it gains value when the following questions are answered by a "No":
In the place where we gather:
1. Does it contain any versicle the preach that we hear? "Everything that was written in the Holy Writings long ago was written to teach us. By not giving up, God’s Word gives us strength and hope." (Romans 15: 4), "You must teach what is right and true." (Titus 2: 1),"God’s Word is living and powerful. It is sharper than a sword that cuts both ways. It cuts straight into where the soul and spirit meet and it divides them. It cuts into the joints and bones. It tells what the heart is thinking about and what it wants to do." (Hebrews 4:12), "You will know the truth and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32)
2. Do they read and promote the reading of the Bible? "Every word of God has been proven true. He is a safe-covering to those who trust in Him. Do not add to His words, or He will speak strong words to you and prove you to be a liar." (Proverbs 30: 5-6), "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119: 105). "This book of the Law must not leave your mouth. Think about it day and night, so you may be careful to do all that is written in it. Then all will go well with you. You will receive many good things." (Joshua 1: 8)
3. is preached of the Gospel, discipled and baptized (When the person has use of reason to decide follow Christ)? " He said to them, “You are to go to all the world and preach the Good News to every person. He who puts his trust in Me and is baptized will be saved from the punishment of sin. But he who does not put his trust in Me is guilty and will be punished forever." (Mark 16: 15-16)
4. is it preached of repentance and forgiveness of sins? "From that time on, Jesus went about preaching. He said, “Be sorry for your sins and turn from them. The holy nation of heaven is near.”" (Matthew 4:17), "“Men and brothers, listen to this. You may be forgiven of your sins by this One I am telling you about. Everyone who puts his trust in Christ will be made right with God. You will be made free from those things the Law of Moses could not make you free from." (Acts 13: 38-39), "But you must be sorry for your sins and turn from them. You must turn to God and have your sins taken away. Then many times your soul will receive new strength from the Lord." (Acts 3:19)
5. do they speak of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? "Go and make followers of all the nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do all the things I have told you. And I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”"(Matthew 28: 19-20), "When Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens opened. He saw the Spirit of God coming down and resting on Jesus like a dove. A voice was heard from heaven. It said, “This is My much-loved Son. I am very happy with Him.”" (Matthew 3: 16-17), "May you have loving-favor from our Lord Jesus Christ. May you have the love of God. May you be joined together by the Holy Spirit." (2 Corinthians 13:14), "Then I will ask My Father and He will give you another Helper. He will be with you forever. 17 He is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot receive Him. It does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He lives with you and will be in you." (John 14: 16-17)

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
