Lever and way to blessing

Hebrews 5:8-10
'Even being God’s Son, He learned to obey by the things He suffered. And having been made perfect, He planned and made it possible for all those who obey Him to be saved from the punishment of sin. In God’s plan He was to be a Religious Leader Who made the way for man to go to God. He was like Melchizedek.'

The Bible has many blessings. There is all what we want. But many times we focus on what we will receive forgetting what steps we must take to obtain this blessing.
It is clear that God is Sovereign and everything is possible for Him (Mark 10:27), but since you and I have the capacity, God will always leave us to do our part and He will do his part. From being obedient in accomplishing what we have to do depends often the blessing.
Let's read a few verses in the Bible to corroborate the above:

1. We know well what Jesus did but ¿what did the disciples do?: "Then He told the people to sit down on the ground. Jesus took the seven loaves of bread and gave thanks to God. He broke the loaves and gave them to His followers to give to the people. The followers gave the bread to them. They had a few small fish also. He gave thanks to God and told the followers to give the fish to them." (Mark 8:6-7).

2. Wonderful what Jesus did, but ¿what did Peter do?: " They came to the city of Capernaum. Those who gathered the tax for the house of God came to Peter. They said, “Does not your Teacher pay tax money for the house of God?” Peter said, “Yes.” When Peter came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first. He said, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of this earth get their money or taxes, from their own people or from those of another country?” Peter said to Him, “From those of another country.” Then Jesus said, “Then their own people do not pay taxes. But so we will not make them to be troubled, go down to the lake and throw in a hook. Take the first fish that comes up. In its mouth you will find a piece of money. Take that and pay the tax for Me and yourself.”"(Matthew 17:24-27).

3. We know the word that God determined through Elisha, but ¿what did Naaman do?: "10 Elisha sent a man to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times. And your flesh will be made well and you will be clean.” 14 So Naaman went down into the Jordan River seven times, as the man of God had told him. And his flesh was made as well as the flesh of a little child. He was clean." (2 Kings 5:10,14)

4. We know what Jehovah did in the Red Sea, but ¿what did Moses and the people do?: "15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to keep going. 16 Lift up your special stick and put out your hand over the sea, and divide it. Then the people of Israel will go through the sea on dry land. 21 Then Moses put out his hand over the sea. And the Lord moved the sea all night by a strong east wind. So the waters were divided. 22 And the people of Israel went through the sea on dry land. The waters were like a wall to them on their right and on their left." (Exodus 14:15-16, 21-22)

And so we will find many and many more episodes where the common denominator is obedience. God will do his part and we will do our part.
So today I want to remember you that God has for you that blessing, that miracle but just like the 10 lepers, God needs us to do our part! (Luke 17:12-14). That as God did with Lazarus, God needs us to be obedient and do what we were asked to do ... It is our duty to remove the stone and God's work is give us the blessing and the miracle (John 11: 38-40).

And lastly, we know well what the Lord has done and does, but ... ¿What we should be done?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
