How do we see ourselves from here to ... 3 years? (Part I)

Ecclesiastes 12: 1
"Remember also your Maker while you are young, before the days of trouble come and the years when you will say, “I have no joy in them,”"

One of the aspects where we most fail is in the capacity of planning and execution. We live life as if we have plenty of time but the truth is that we never know for sure how long we have ... Some people died in the pregnancy stage, others in their childhood, others in their adulthood and others in their old age ... We forget that "Man is like a breath. His days are like a passing shadow." (Psalm 144: 4) ... in a nutshell, today we are, tomorrow we might not be ... For this reason we can not let time drain "So be careful how you live. Live as men who are wise and not foolish. Make the best use of your time. These are sinful days." (Ephesians 5: 15-16)
So the question "How do we see ourselves from here to ... 3 years?" Reveals whether or not we have a focus or illusion, whether or not we have a plan, or whether we have a desire to progress.
What if we consider the following ?:
1. Yes, we know it, but it is good to remember... "We are not eternal!": "Listen! You who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this city and stay a year and make money.” You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life? It is like fog. You see it and soon it is gone." (James 4: 13-14)... Do we have a plan? Do we have a project for 3 years? Let us remember that we are not eternal and let us go to work to undertake one. "Do not talk much about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day will bring." (Proverbs 27: 1) ... It's not tomorrow, let's begin today!
2. Do what is planned: "Think about all this. Work at it so everyone may see you are growing as a Christian." (1 Timothy 4:15) ... There are many people planning, but when it comes to executing the plan many of us do not execute the plan...  We hope that someone will do it for us? Don't lose time! Let's commit now to execute what is planned! "Some good comes from all work. Nothing but talk leads only to being poor."(Proverbs 14:23)

To be continued...

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
