Should we remember manners and responsibilities? (Part II)

2 Kings 2: 23-24
"Then he left there and went to Bethel. On the way, some young boys came out from the city and made fun of him. They said to him, “Go up, you man with no hair! Go up, you man with no hair!” He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two female bears came from among the trees and tore up forty-two of the boys."

3. Do we help others? "It is God Who gives seed to the man to plant. He also gives the bread to eat. Then we know He will give you more seed to plant and make it grow so you will have more to give away. God will give you enough so you can always give to others. Then many will give thanks to God for sending gifts through us. This gift you give not only helps Christians who are in need, but it also helps them give thanks to God. You are proving by this act of love what you are. They will give thanks to God for your gift to them and to others. This proves you obey the Good News of Christ. They will pray for you with great love because God has given you His loving-favor. Thank God for His great Gift." (2 Corinthians 9: 10-15), "For sure, I tell you, anyone who gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he follows Me, will not lose his reward.”" (Matthew 10:42), "Do not work only for your own good. Think of what you can do for others." (1 Corinthians 10:24), "Each of us should live to please his neighbor. This will help him grow in faith." (Romans 15: 2), "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ This is the first Law. “The second Law is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other Law is greater than these.”" (Mark 12: 30-31)
4. Do we behave properly? "When Herod was king of the country of Judea, there was a Jewish religious leader named Zacharias. He worked for Abijah. His wife was of the family group of Aaron. Her name was Elizabeth. They were right with God and obeyed the Jewish Law and did what the Lord said to do." (Luke 1: 5-6), "The Lord said to Satan, “Have you thought about My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth. He is without blame, a man who is right and good. He honors God with fear and turns away from sin.”" (Job 1: 8), "Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him and said, “See! There is a true Jew. There is nothing false in him.”" (John 1:47), "Enoch walked with God, and he was seen no more, for God took him." (Genesis 5:24)
5. Are we responsible? "Everyone should look at himself and see how he does his own work. Then he can be happy in what he has done. He should not compare himself with his neighbor. Everyone must do his own work." (Galatians 6: 4-5), "Christian brothers, make sure you are among those He has chosen and called out for His own. As long as you do these things, you will never trip and fall." (2 Peter 1:10), "When I was a child, I spoke like a child. I thought like a child. I understood like a child. Now I am a man. I do not act like a child anymore." (1 Corinthians 13:11)
6. Do we work? "Get up, for this is your duty, but we will be with you. Have strength of heart and do it.”" (Ezra 10: 4), "The hand of those who do their best will rule, but the lazy hand will be made to work." (Proverbs 12:24), "Riches taken by false ways become less and less, but riches grow for the one who gathers by hard work." (Proverbs 13:11), "Watch yourselves! You do not want to lose what we have worked for. You want to get what has been promised to you." (2 John 1: 8), "Anyone who steals must stop it! He must work with his hands so he will have what he needs and can give to those who need help." (Ephesians 4:28), "The Holy Writings say, “When a cow is walking on the grain to break it open, do not stop it from eating some” , and “A person who works should be paid.”" (1 Timothy 5:18) "After that Paul went from the city of Athens and came to the city of Corinth. He met a Jew there named Aquila who was born in the country of Pontus. He had lived in the country of Italy a short time. His wife Priscilla was with him. Claudius, who was the leader of the country, had told all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see Aquila and Priscilla. They made tents for a living. Paul did the same kind of work so he stayed with them and they worked together." (Acts 18: 1-3).
