We know the subject and ... Do we have experience?

1 Timothy 1: 15-16
"What I say is true and all the world should receive it. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners from their sin and I am the worst sinner. And yet God had loving-kindness for me. Jesus Christ used me to show how long He will wait for even the worst sinners. In that way, others will know they can have life that lasts forever also."

Romans 15: 17-21
"I have reason to be proud of my work for God. It is because I belong to Christ Jesus. I can only speak of what Christ has done through me. I have helped the people who are not Jews to obey Him. I have done it by words and by living with them. God showed them His power through me. The Holy Spirit did powerful works through me in front of them. From Jerusalem to the country of Illyricum I have preached the Good News of Christ. It is my desire to preach the Good News where it has never been preached. I want to preach only where Christ is not known. The Holy Writings say, “Those who have never known about Him will see. And those who have never heard about Him will understand.”"

Undoubtedly, the best way to learn something is through practice and practice and practice of something, so, in practice and we can refine the knowledge of it and thus gain experience ... For example, our parents taught us to crawl, take our first steps, walk, then run and jump ... just as we acquire another kind of knowledge, we execute them and it is right at this point where we can teach others the method of how we have done.
But, would we ask a bakery banker or ... vice versa? Or would we ask someone for advice who has no idea what we need? It would definitely be absurd ...
Likewise, "My brethren, what will it profit if someone says he has faith, and has no works? Can faith save him? And if a brother or sister are naked, and have need of daily maintenance, and one of you says to them, "My Christian brothers, what good does it do if you say you have faith but do not do things that prove you have faith? Can that kind of faith save you from the punishment of sin? What if a Christian does not have clothes or food? And one of you says to him, “Goodbye, keep yourself warm and eat well.” But if you do not give him what he needs, how does that help him? A faith that does not do things is a dead faith. Someone may say, “You have faith, and I do things. Prove to me you have faith when you are doing nothing. I will prove to you I have faith by doing things.”" (James 2: 14-18).
Bragging about a topic with no experience will only serve to lose those who really need advice! "Whoever is the reason for one of these little ones who believes in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large stone put around his neck and to be thrown into the sea." (Mark 9:42). "Jesus used a picture-story as He spoke to them. He said, “Can one blind man lead another blind man? Will they not fall into the ditch together?" (Luke 6:39)

We must understand that we are not eternal (Matthew 24:22), therefore our knowledge and experience about all subjects is limited (James 1: 5).
So what should we do? Who could help us?
1. If we do not know the subject we must be honest with ourselves that we need divine help for the subject, so asking in prayer direction and searching the Word of God will never be a bad idea! "All the Holy Writings are God-given and are made alive by Him. Man is helped when he is taught God’s Word. It shows what is wrong. It changes the way of a man’s life. It shows him how to be right with God. It gives the man who belongs to God everything he needs to work well for Him." (2 Timothy 3:16-17) ... "Happy is the man who does not walk in the way sinful men tell him to, or stand in the path of sinners, or sit with those who laugh at the truth. But he finds joy in the Law of the Lord and thinks about His Law day and night. This man is like a tree planted by rivers of water, which gives its fruit at the right time and its leaf never dries up. Whatever he does will work out well for him." (Psalm 1: 1-3)

2. Certainly there is one who suffered absolutely everything, has the knowledge of everything, has all the experience to give it to us when we want it, that person is Jesus ... "Our Religious Leader understands how weak we are. Christ was tempted in every way we are tempted, but He did not sin. Let us go with complete trust to the throne of God. We will receive His loving-kindness and have His loving-favor to help us whenever we need it." (Hebrews 4: 15-16)

3. And if we need more ... "The Holy Spirit is coming. He will lead you into all truth. He will not speak His Own words. He will speak what He hears. He will tell you of things to come." (John 16:13)

What do you think?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
