Resigned? With any illness? Have you even come to think "Pray?? I do not think is for me"?

Luke 8:43-44
"A woman had been sick for twelve years with a flow of blood. (*She had spent all the money she had on doctors.) But she could not be healed by anyone. She came behind Jesus and touched the bottom of His coat. At once the flow of blood stopped."

Day by day we get up with the spirit to live, to the point of making short, medium and long term plans ... We always have so much to plan, to do and of course, we hope to achieve. It would seem that we were programmed to undertake and never to faint ... "Dear friend, I pray that you are doing well in every way. I pray that your body is strong and well even as your soul is." (3 John 1:2). "For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for well-being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
But possibly our life has been broken in a thousand pieces after going to a medical appointment and have diagnosed us a degenerative disease, a disease that doctors can do nothing, or a terminal illness. We left with the forces that remain after this news and we started looking for who can help us but every time things get worse and worse ... "A woman had been sick for twelve years with a flow of blood. She had suffered much because of having many doctors. She had spent all the money she had. She had received no help, but became worse." (Mark 5:25-26) ... Then we are so full of hatred, anger, helplessness, doubt, despair, loneliness ... That when someone speaks to us about Jesus ... we just say "Pray for me" or already resignedly we only answer "Pray? I don't think that is for me" ...
For you that do not see the exit, for you that is about to find in resignation... is the following:
1. Do not let despair blind us, while there is life there is hope: It is easy to think of such situations that there is no longer only death, but God shouts "Look at the birds in the sky. They do not plant seeds. They do not gather grain. They do not put grain into a building to keep. Yet your Father in heaven feeds them! Are you not more important than the birds? " (Matthew 6:26) ..."But there is hope for the one who is among the living. For sure a live dog is better off than a dead lion." (Ecclesiastes 9:4)
2. Please believe again: In the midst of illness it is easy to put our lives in the hands of a specialist in order to heal our disease, but none of them has been able to heal us ... We have felt disappointed, we have felt that we have failed, however, God will not fail us ... Let us return to trust in God "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but stands forever. The Lord is around His people like the mountains are around Jerusalem, now and forever" (Psalm 125:1-2).
3. For he that believeth all things is possible: "Jesus said to him, “Why do you ask Me that? The one who has faith can do all things.”" (Mark 9:23). "Jesus said to her, “Did I not say that if you would believe, you would see the shining-greatness of God?”"
(John 11:40) ... Come! Yes you can! Let us remember that "A man cannot please God unless he has faith. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is. That one must also know that God gives what is promised to the one who keeps on looking for Him." (Hebrews 11:6).
4. But why should we leave our resignation and place our trust in God ?: "For God can do all things." (Luke 1:37) "Jesus looked at them and said, “This cannot be done by men but God can do anything.”" (Mark 10:27)
5. God reminds us that this is not our end: We know that God makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are chosen to be a part of His plan." (Romans 8:28).  Rather let us remember that "But they who wait upon the Lord will get new strength. They will rise up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weak." (Isaiah 40:31)

"She heard about Jesus and went among the people who were following Him. She touched His coat. For she said to herself, “If I can only touch His coat, I will be healed.” At once the flow of blood stopped. She felt in her body that she was healed of her sickness." (Mark 5:27-29) ... We have heard of Jesus ... Do we dare to leave resignation to trust and decide to touch his cloak in prayer?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
