Annoying because the one in front does not let us pass but we can not even say "A permit please"? Please, let's say the Word! Let's not limit our walk or complain to the Lord when we do nothing about it!
We are a great creation, a great work of art that has no limits made by the Great Lord, so that we ourselves if we limit ourselves?
Let's see what it teaches us 2 Peter 1: 3-11:
1. "Precious and great promises": Imagine the panorama ... Almighty God who is calling us to give us precious and very great promises, and we complaining that someone is limiting us ... Where will be the problem: In the person who we think is limiting us or in us for being unbelievers? ... Did we know that we have the mind of Christ? (1 Corinthians 2:16) ... That's right, we have no limits! Therefore when we believe that we are limited we are being unbelievers! "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, I believe; Help me my unbelief. "(Mark 9: 23-24) ... Let us leave unbelief to appropriate the precious and very great promises that will help us to be partakers of the divine nature, otherwise unbelief will only take us back to The corruption that is in the world because of concupiscence ... (2 Peter 1: 4)
2. "Putting all diligence for this very thing": Many times we lose the look of Christ to look at what has not been commanded us, that is why we fill ourselves with excuses, we fill ourselves with complaints with the Lord, we do nothing about it, and to add, we blame others for what we certainly should have done long ago ... we lose focus!
Focusing on these things will only lead us to idleness, from idleness we will pass into gossip and meddle where no one called us speaking what we do not owe (1 Timothy 5:13) ... Sadly we achieve nothing by wasting time!
Therefore we are advised to add to our "Do your best to add holy living to your faith. Then add to this a better understanding. As you have a better understanding, be able to say no when you need to. Do not give up. And as you wait and do not give up, live God-like. As you live God-like, be kind to Christian brothers and love them." (2 Peter 1: 5-7)
Have we not been told to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness? (Matthew 6:33) ... Have we not been told to look at Jesus? (Hebrews 12: 2) For what? In order not to "they will keep you from being of no use and from having no fruit when it comes to knowing our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 1: 8).
3. "Try to make firm your vocation and choice": Is it important what we want to achieve? Will it be worth what we want to achieve? If so, then we should have respect for ourselves! To see the award you will always need effort, dedication, focus, constancy, attitude, responsibility, discipline and Time! Our vocation and choice! Remember that we do not run for anything "You know that only one person gets a crown for being in a race even if many people run. You must run so you will win the crown." (1 Corinthians 9:24) ... Which prize? "In this way, the road will be made wide open for you. And you will " (2 Peter 1:11)
What do you think? A new day with determination ?
God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
