¿Do we seek God only when things go wrong? (Part II)
2 Chronicles 15:1-2
'The Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded. Azariah went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with Him. If you look for Him, He will let you find Him. But if you leave Him, He will leave you.'3. The Bible teaches us that if we understand this, we are sane, therefore we will seek God, we will delight in His Word and we will do it all we read from Bible: "Obey the Word of God. If you hear only and do not act, you are only fooling yourself." (James 1:22), "He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding will find good." (Proverbs 19:8) "Happy is the man who does not walk in the way sinful men tell him to, or stand in the path of sinners, or sit with those who laugh at the truth. But he finds joy in the Law of the Lord and thinks about His Law day and night. This man is like a tree planted by rivers of water, which gives its fruit at the right time and its leaf never dries up. Whatever he does will work out well for him." (Psalm 1: 1-3).
4. Therefore, it would be absurd to seek God only when things go wrong, so the Bible suggests that we should always seek God: "Look for the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6), "But from there you will look for the Lord your God. And you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and soul." (Deuteronomy 4:29), "“The God Who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth. He does not live in buildings made by hands. No one needs to care for Him as if He needed anything. He is the One who gives life and breath and everything to everyone. He made from one blood all nations who live on the earth. He set the times and places where they should live. “They were to look for God. Then they might feel after Him and find Him because He is not far from each one of us." (Acts 17: 24-27).
¿Do we change the chip to just look for God all time and not when things go wrong?
God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
