¿Are we looking and criticising the mistakes of others? (Part II)

Mathew 7:3-5
'Why do you look at the small piece of wood in your brother’s eye, and do not see the big piece of wood in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take that small piece of wood out of your eye,’ when there is a big piece of wood in your own eye? You who pretend to be someone you are not, first take the big piece of wood out of your own eye. Then you can see better to take the small piece of wood out of your brother’s eye.'

3. Let us assure ourselves that what we are going to say will build the other: "Watch your talk! No bad words should be coming from your mouth. Say what is good. Your words should help others grow as Christians. Do not make God’s Holy Spirit have sorrow for the way you live. The Holy Spirit has put a mark on you for the day you will be set free." (Ephesians 4:29-30)
4. Let us always take heed to help, however, let us consider ourselves: "Christian brothers, if a person is found doing some sin, you who are stronger Christians should lead that one back into the right way. Do not be proud as you do it. Watch yourself, because you may be tempted also." (Galatians 6:1)
5. Beware of slander and defamation, let us follow the advice of the Word of God: "“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him what he did without other people hearing it. If he listens to you, you have won your brother back again. But if he will not listen to you, take one or two other people with you. Every word may be remembered by the two or three who heard. If he will not listen to them, tell the trouble to the church. If he does not listen to the church, think of him as a person who is as bad as one who does not know God and a person who gathers taxes." (Matthew 18:15-17)

Remember, "The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has chosen me to bring good news to poor people. He has sent me to heal those with a sad heart. He has sent me to tell those who are being held and those in prison that they can go free. He has sent me to tell about the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day our God will bring punishment. He has sent me to comfort all who are filled with sorrow. To those who have sorrow in Zion I will give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes. I will give them the oil of joy instead of sorrow, and a spirit of praise instead of a spirit of no hope. Then they will be called oaks that are right with God, planted by the Lord, that He may be honored." (Isaiah 61:1-3), proclaiming the good news! So beware "Giving thanks and speaking bad words come from the same mouth. My Christian brothers, this is not right!" (James 3:10) ... Let us not fall into the play of the devil, let us not forget that Jesus himself said: "I say to you, on the day men stand before God, they will have to give an answer for every word they have spoken that was not important." (Matthew 12:36)

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
