Lord, look what this is saying to me!

Acts 13:8-11
'But Elymas (as he called himself), the man who did witchcraft, worked against Barnabas and Saul. He tried to keep the leader of the country from putting his trust in the Lord. Saul, whose other name was Paul, was full of the Holy Spirit. He looked at Elymas. Then Saul said, “You false preacher and trouble-maker! You son of the devil! You hate what is right! Will you always be turning people from the right ways of the Lord? And now look! The hand of the Lord is on you. You will become blind. For a time you will not be able to see the sun.” At once it became dark to Elymas, and he could not see. He asked people to take him by the hand to lead him from place to place.'

Nowadays, we not only see how people get up to prevent the work from being carried out (Evangelize), but, that people very close to us are raised (usually) to suggest ideas that not good in the light of the Word ... Stones Of stumbling.

Let's look at more common aspects and phrases below:

1. They do not read the Word of God, they do not meditate on the Word of God, but they want to advise us: Hey! We already have a purpose in the Lord!
'Then Peter came to Jesus and said, “Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him, up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I tell you, not seven times but seventy times seven! “The holy nation of heaven is like a king who wanted to find out how much money his servants owed him.' (Matthew 18:21-23)

2. 'But if you do not go on a Sunday, I do not think God will punish you ... leave the fanaticism!': The Word urges us to have faith, 'So then, faith comes to us by hearing the Good News. And the Good News comes by someone preaching it.' (Romans 10:17)
In the church we hear Word of God, we strengthen ourselves, so please, 'Let us not stay away from church meetings. Some people are doing this all the time. Comfort each other as you see the day of His return coming near.' (Hebrews 10:25)

3. Those who do not go to church but do not let the others go: '“It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You keep men from going into the holy nation of heaven. You are not going in yourselves, and you do not allow those to go in who are about to go in.' (Matthew 23:13)

4. Those who live a lifestyle without sacrifice: 'If we do it this sometimes it is not too bad, the bad is the excess' ...'It is bad for those who call what is sinful good, and good sinful, who say dark is light and light is dark, who make bitter sweet, and sweet bitter!' (Isaiah 5:20)

Remember: 'Peter saw him and said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this one?” Jesus said, “If I want this one to wait until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”' (John 21:21-22)

¿What about you? Follow me!

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
