¿Go back? ¿Are you kidding me?!

Hebrews 10:38-39
'For the one right with God lives by faith. If anyone turns back, I will not be pleased with him.” We are not of those people who turn back and are lost. Instead, we have faith to be saved from the punishment of sin.'

We come to know God, we repent, we accept Him as Lord and Savior, and a new life in Christ begins ... But usually most things start to oppose ... family, friends, work, etc ... because it not easy to understand to them what is happening in our lives. "put away the old person you used to be. Have nothing to do with your old sinful life. It was sinful because of being fooled into following bad desires. Let your minds and hearts be made new. You must become a new person and be God-like. Then you will be made right with God and have a true holy life." (Ephesians 4: 22-24). The Word of God is doing its work "God’s Word is living and powerful. It is sharper than a sword that cuts both ways. It cuts straight into where the soul and spirit meet and it divides them. It cuts into the joints and bones. It tells what the heart is thinking about and what it wants to do." (Hebrews 4:12) and is going to put it out every argument we had. "This is what God wants. When you do right, you stop foolish men from saying bad things. Obey as men who are free but do not use this to cover up sin. Live as servants owned by God at all times." (1 Peter 2:15-16).
Now, having clear the above, we must understand that "These things are all a part of the Christian life to which you have been called. Christ suffered for us. This shows us we are to follow in His steps. He never sinned. No lie or bad talk ever came from His lips. When people spoke against Him, He never spoke back. When He suffered from what people did to Him, He did not try to pay them back. He left it in the hands of the One Who is always right in judging. He carried our sins in His own body when He died on a cross. In doing this, we may be dead to sin and alive to all that is right and good. His wounds have healed you! You were like lost sheep. But now you have come back to Him Who is your Shepherd and the One Who cares for your soul." (1 Peter 2: 21-25)
"No one can hide from God. His eyes see everything we do. We must give an answer to God for what we have done. We have a great Religious Leader Who has made the way for man to go to God. He is Jesus, the Son of God, Who has gone to heaven to be with God. Let us keep our trust in Jesus Christ." (Hebrews 4:13-14).
¿What does this mean?
Leaving our old life, persevering in faith, adopting a lifestyle with a good conduct that pleases the King and we understanding that we walk an even more excellent road requires maturity! ¿What is the finality? "These gifts help His people work well for Him. And then the church which is the body of Christ will be made strong. All of us are to be as one in the faith and in knowing the Son of God. We are to be full-grown Christians standing as high and complete as Christ is Himself. Then we will not be as children any longer. Children are like boats thrown up and down on big waves. They are blown with the wind. False teaching is like the wind. False teachers try everything possible to make people believe a lie, but we are to hold to the truth with love in our hearts. We are to grow up and be more like Christ. He is the leader of the church. Christ has put each part of the church in its right place. Each part helps other parts. This is what is needed to keep the whole body together. In this way, the whole body grows strong in love." (Ephesians 4:12- 16). We are no longer fluctuating children! We have decided to reach the measure of the stature of Christ!

¿How mature are we? "Christian brothers, I could not speak to you as to full-grown Christians. I spoke to you as men who have not obeyed the things you have been taught. I spoke to you as if you were baby Christians. My teaching was as if I were giving you milk to drink. I could not give you meat because you were not ready for it. Even yet you are not able to have anything but milk." (1 Corinthians 3:1-2)
Let us meditate on this, let us take counsel, let us to be mature so that we may please Christ and may say "¿Go back? ¿Are you kidding me?!".

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
