¿What are we hearing?
1 Samuel 15:22
'Samuel said, “Is the Lord pleased as much with burnt gifts as He is when He is obeyed? See, it is better to obey than to give gifts. It is better to listen than to give the fat of rams.'
¿Did not we know that:
'If one gives an answer before he hears, it makes him foolish and ashamed.' (Proverbs 18:13)
¿Have we ever wondered what is the reason God has given us the opportunity to hear?
Faith:
'So then, faith comes to us by hearing the Good News. And the Good News comes by someone preaching it.' (Romans 10:17)
Sanity:
'O sons, hear the teaching of a father. Listen so you may get understanding. For I give you good teaching. Do not turn away from it. When I was a much loved and only son of my mother and father, he taught me, saying, “Hold my words close to your heart. Keep my teachings and live.' (Proverbs 4:1-4)
Privacy:
'My sheep hear My voice and I know them. They follow Me. I give them life that lasts forever. They will never be punished. No one is able to take them out of My hand.' (John 10:27-28)
