Lord, ¿Why? Why did you make me like this?
Romans 9:20
'Who are you to talk back to God? A pot being made from clay does not talk to the man making it and say, “Why did you make me like this?”'So much effort, resources and years are spent trying to find answers in doctors, psychologists, philosophers ... that in the end they are also people who have the same or more "why's" unresolved!
We go to church, but before entering we leave the suitcase of "why's" outside, then we enter and raise hands, we sing, we hear the Word of God but when we leave we take the suitcase back.
We harbor and spend more time in our lives giving rise to so many nonconformities, resentment, pain, sadness, abandonment of ourselves but ...
On the other hand:
¿Have we ever heard of a potter making vessels that will not useful?
¿Did we know that what ends up doing the potter with clay is a work of art?
¿Did we know that there is a process for that work of art to be completed?
While these questions make us reflect and reduce us to want to quarrel with the Lord ... ¿Did we know that the process to has to do the potter is kneading, molding, polishing and baking?
We are a precious work in the hands of the Great Potter!
“We are His work. He has made us to belong to Christ Jesus so we can work for Him. He planned that we should do this.” (Ephesians 2:10)
“But now the Lord Who made you, O Jacob, and He Who made you, O Israel, says, “Do not be afraid. For I have bought you and made you free. I have called you by name. You are Mine!” (Isaiah 43:1)
“You are of great worth in My eyes. You are honored and I love you. I will give other men in your place. I will trade other people for your life.” (Isaiah 43:4)
The Lord has taken his time to create us, we are a masterpiece in his hands, the Lord has given us purpose and a sense!God made us like this because there was no better way to do it! Rather, let us understand that:
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has put thoughts of the forever in man’s mind, yet man cannot understand the work God has done from the beginning to the end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
And ... "Keep in your heart what you have heard from the beginning. Then you will belong to the Son and to the Father if what you have heard from the beginning is in you. 25 And He has promised us life that lasts forever!" (1 John 2:24-25)
¿Will we continue to focus on why God made us like this or rather read the Bible so we know the perfect plan that God has for you and for me?
God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
