¿Why use my brother as a crutch when I have Christ?

Isaiah 31:1,3
"It is bad for those who go down to Egypt for help, and trust in the many horses and war-wagons, and in the much strength of their horsemen. They do not look to the Holy One of Israel or ask the Lord for help.
The Egyptians are men, and not God. Their horses are flesh and not spirit. The Lord puts out His hand, and the helper and the one who is helped will fall. All of them will be destroyed together."

Nowadays, it is easy to trust, believe and support people around us ... Unfortunately, we are human, we make mistakes and fail, so when people trust in one person and disappoint him, their lives are shattered, as when a leader fails is so common that people end up left out of the churches ... Exact! His trust was in the leader but not in the Lord.
Usually we forget that "The Holy Writings say, “There is not one person who is right with God. No, not even one! There is not one who understands. There is not one who tries to find God.” Everyone has turned away from God. They have all done wrong. Not one of them does what is good. No, not even one!"(Romans 3:10-12).
We are all sad, we have all moments of doubt and panic, we all experience disappointment, pain, deceit and impotence, we all have difficult moments where we see that there is no way out.
While it is true that many times we have around us somebody who give us a word of encouragement from the Lord, they help us in prayer (James 5:16), and although this we do many times is no reason to turn my brother as crutch and worse, as a god.
God warned Israel that the Egyptians were not gods but they were men, just like you and me ... Israel was misunderstanding all! Our support is God and not man !! All will die one day, our body will return to dust and the spirit will return to the one who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7), but God is eternal "We give honor and thanks to the King Who lives forever. He is the One Who never dies and Who is never seen. He is the One Who knows all things. He is the only God. Let it be so." (1 Timothy 1:17)

Is necessary to us living having crutches all time (Trust in someone)?
¿Have we crutches? Only we know if we have them ... Definitely if we are having our hope in a brother, if we are seeing him as our lifeguard or if we see him as a god, surely we have crutches then. If so, today is a good day to return to the Lord and trust in Him. "Christ is the Stone that was put aside by you workmen. But He has become the most important Stone in the building. There is no way to be saved from the punishment of sin through anyone else. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.”" (Acts 4:11-12)

No one loves us like God, no one watches over us as God, no one hurts so much when we fall as God, that's why "The Lord came to us from far away, saying, “I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. So I have helped you come to Me with loving-kindness." (Jeremiah 31:3)
¿Will the Lord not help us, He will not soon be relief to us and will not be support for his special treasure that we are to Him (Exodus 19:5)?
Let's leave the crutches and "‘Call to Me, and I will answer you..." (Jeremiah 33:3a)

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
