¿Do we not know that our body do not belong to ourselves?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
'Do you not know that your body is a house of God where the Holy Spirit lives? God gave you His Holy Spirit. Now you belong to God. You do not belong to yourselves. God bought you with a great price. So honor God with your body. You belong to Him.'
We all yearn to be healthy and strong in order to do our activities. It is well known that we do not like to get sick us, because this restrict us of doing many things, but we also know that most diseases are by our own negligence!
The Lord wants us to have health (3 John 1:2), but usually we forget that this body we have is not ours! (1 Corinthians 6:19).
Everything has a manual and that of our body is the Bible.
Did you know that the Bible teaches us:
1. To prevent sexually transmitted diseases: 1 Corinthians 6:18, Leviticus 18:20, Hebrews 13: 4, Exodus 20:14, Colossians 3: 5-7 ...
2. When we have no strength: Psalm 119: 50, Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 40: 29-31
3. To avoid overweight problems: Proverbs 25:16, Proverbs 23: 2
4. To avoid vices: Proverbs 23:20, Romans 12: 1, 2 Corinthians 7: 1
5. To avoid stress: Psalm 55:22, 2 Corinthians 4: 7-9, Isaiah 26: 3, Matthew 11:28, Matthew 6:33
6. To avoid digestive problems: Proverbs 15:17, 1 Timothy 5:23
7. To avoid insomnia: Proverbs 3:24, Job 11: 198.
8. To have a sound mind: Colossians 3: 2, Titus 1: 15-16, Psalms 1: 1-6, Romans 1:28, Joshua 1: 8
Please, do not leave the Bible ...
"See, I will make it well again, and I will heal them. I will let them have much peace and truth." (Jeremiah 33:6)
