¿How much longer are we going to doze?

Ephesians 5:14
'Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”'

In our daily life we happen us infinities of things where the purpose is to go cooling us or sleeping us slowly until we become insensitive, because the point of all this is making us believe that we are right in order to despise the God's advice...
An example are the following:
1. A false state of comfort... 'But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’' (Mateo 25:5-12)

2. We think ourselves with the authority to think and to say the Master doesn't realize of things:
'But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”  And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things." (Luke 10: 40-41)

3. We believe ourselves wiser than God to the point of despising his advice:
'Then they believed His words; They sang His praise. They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel, But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert.' (Psalm 106:12-14)

The question is:
How are our spiritual life?

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."(1 Peter 5:8)

It's would be better we stop sleeping and:
'Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.' (Revelation 3:2-3)

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
