¿Have we thought how many talents we were owed?

Matthew 18:24-27
“And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.”

Let us pause in our daily running and think: Do we know how much the Lord has forgiven us? Do we keep in mind where pulled us the Lord? Are we aware we were uncapabled to pay our debt the Lord?
that there was no way to repay the Lord our debt?

Today I'd like to do a simple mathematical operation ...
We know that a denarii was the common payment for a day's work, however, according to investigations, a talent was equivalent to approximately 6000 denarii, that is, 6 thousand days of work.
It is impressive that in this story of the Bible, the Lord forgives a debt of 10,000 talents!
So let's multiply: 10,000 talents for 6,000 denarii = 60,000,000 denarii, that is, 60 million days of work owed this man to his Lord !!

We have thought what was the debt Jesus Christ forgave us?

When we do not understand the price and are not aware of what Jesus Christ has done for us, it is easy to judge, it is easy to criticize, it is easy to point our finger to harm people, it is easy to offend, because it's does not matter to us, it's easy to think "it's not my problem":
"“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt."(Matthew 18: 28-30)

Please, never what anyone does to us will be greater than what we have done to the Master to have to pay our sins with blood price!

¿Has anyone done anything to us? Forgive him! ¿Have we done anything to anyone? Let's ask for forgiveness.
Please, let us stop our eagerness, let us analyze what the Lord has done for us, let us recognize how Beautiful and Great the Lord is and how enormous his Grace and Mercy has been for us! And keeping in mind this, we'll are prepare to forgive, to lift, to help and to comfort as useful instruments in the hands of the Lord.

Have we thought how many talents we were owed?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
