¿Are we still thinking that we can conceal our sin from God?

Job 32:21
'“For God’s eyes are upon the ways of a man, and He sees all his steps.'

"Everything that is hidden will be brought into the light.
Everything that is a secret will be made known."
(Mark 4:22)

Surely many of us played hide and seek when we were children, and we laughed when the one who was looking for us passed near where we were and could not find us. We said: Cool! Great hiding place! Undoubtedly for the next game we will hide again there !.

Nowadays, most of us continue to play hide and seek with our sins. We often think no one is watching us and God will never notice what we do ... We often to forget “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the bad and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3) “Everything that is hidden will be brought into the light. Everything that is a secret will be made known. You have ears, then listen!”” (Mark 4:22-23)

Traveling a remote place in order to do whatever we want to because no one knows us? Keeping a relationship with a lover in a "prudent" way in order to no one notice it? Stealing in the company we work? Telling lies? Double life? Double morals?
"Oh great! How well we do it! We are champions! No one will notice!”
How fool and naive we are by thinking in that way ... Nothing is hidden of the God's eyes! ““Am I a God Who is near,” says the Lord, “and not a God Who is far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?” says the Lord. “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:23-24)

Certainly everything we do has consequences! "Do not be fooled. You cannot fool God. A man will get back whatever he plants! If a man does things to please his sinful old self, his soul will be lost. If a man does things to please the Holy Spirit, he will have life that lasts forever." (Galatians 6:7-8)… We can not mocked to God because "I the Lord look into the heart, and test the mind. I give to each man what he should have because of his ways and because of the fruit that comes from his works."(Jeremiah 17:10) ... We are naked before his Eyes! "No one can hide from God. His eyes see everything we do. We must give an answer to God for what we have done."(Hebrews 4:13).

Now we already know that God sees everything, let's read on the Word what entails to continue practicing sin and believe us that no one sees us:
1. We turn away from God and hurry to our destruction: "You are not a God Who is pleased with what is bad. The sinful cannot be with You. The proud cannot stand before You. You hate all who do wrong. You destroy those who tell lies. The Lord hates liars and men who kill other people."(Psalm 5: 4-6).
2. We become enemies of God: "You are as wives and husbands who are not faithful in marriage and do sex sins. Do you not know that to love the sinful things of the world and to be a friend to them is to be against God? Yes, I say it again, if you are a friend of the world, you are against God. Do you think the Holy Writings mean nothing when they said, “The Holy Spirit Whom God has given to live in us has a strong desire for us to be faithful to Him”? But He gives us more loving-favor. For the Holy Writings say, “God works against the proud but gives loving-favor to those who have no pride.”"(James 4: 4-6)
3. We lose the favor of God: "But your wrong-doings have kept you away from your God. Your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear." (Isaiah 59: 2)... Work, finance, business?
4. We do not have peace: "“There is no peace for the sinful,” says the Lord."(Isaiah 48:22) "For I know my wrong-doing, and my sin is always in front of me."(Psalm 51: 3)
5. Let's from bad to worse: "The way of the sinful is like darkness. They do not know what they trip over." (Proverbs 4:19)
6. My family: "If a man returns bad for good, trouble will not leave his house." (Proverbs 17:13), "Then the Lord passed by in front of him, saying, “The Lord, the Lord God, with loving-pity and loving-favor, slow to anger, filled with loving-kindness and truth, 7 keeping loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving wrong-doing and sin. But He will not let the guilty go without being punished. He brings the sin of fathers down upon the children, even the great-grandchildren.”"(Exodus 34: 6-7)

Do we want to receive those consequences?

"But you must be sorry for your sins and turn from them. You must turn to God and have your sins taken away. Then many times your soul will receive new strength from the Lord." (Acts 3:19)

¿Are we still thinking that we can conceal our sin from God? (Deuteronomy 28)

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
