¿Are we have a destroyed marriage?

Mark 3:24-25
“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

Why do couples argue? Why is there so much conflict in marriages? When we get married we not only bring our own suitcase with good things, but also each one brings their customs, habits, problems, fears, wounds ... yes, that's the way it is ... no one is perfect, so we have imperfections in our suitcase too!
When we open the suitcases in the coexistence, this usually produces friction, so whether we like it or not, the conflict will exist... Unless "Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127: 1a)
Exact! All marriage without the government of God, without Christ being the center... soon will give way to selfishness, lies, jealousy, lack of tolerance, shouting, uncontrollable arguments and fights that will end up distorting the vision of husband or of wife. We forget that our partner is a beautiful gift from God, it is a helper comparable ... God has determined it!
At this point we begin to make plans for divorce because we no longer want to live with our partner ... We begin to declare judgment and we do not measure what we say them when the Bible says "bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."(Colossians 3: 13-15)

It is so sad to hear so many divorced couples say, "If I had not done or said this ...", "If only I had listened ... '
And when we asked "why do not reconcile?" "Well, it is not the same, we have us already did so much damage that is no longer worth it ..."

So, if we are going through this we must urgently make a stop, run at the Master's feet and ask Him for direction in our marriage!
Husbands: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself."(Ephesians 5:25-28).

Wives: "Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything."(Ephesians 5:22-24)

Where do we start?
Husbands: Let's start by loving our wife (Ephesians 5:25). But how? "Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." (1 Peter 3:7), cast out of us the cruelty, have an "I love you", a "how beautiful you are today!" (Colossians 3:19), bless your wife, may our mouths speak only good things to her, a word from us in the morning may make her happy all day long (Proverbs 31: 28-29), pray for her and for her dreams and goals!
Wives: Recognize your husband as an authority, be prudent when speaking (Proverbs 15:1), remember that a wise woman builds her house, that's why respect is a great pillar for a happy marriage (Proverbs 14:1), Pray for him and for your dreams and goals!
This is not about feelings ... This is about decision and determination!
It is not built overnight, but instead of waiting for the other to change ¿Why do not we start ourselves?

No more divorces! If we know something else that will help us to rebuild the relationship ... Let's do it!
Even so if you are already divorced ... remember the Lord never, never, never be late to resume!

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
