Is God loyal? (Part III)
2 Corinthians 1: 17-20
"Yes, I changed my mind. Does that show that I change my mind a lot? Do I plan things as people of the world who say yes when they mean no? You know I am not like that! As God is true, my yes means yes. I am not the kind of person who says one thing and means another. Timothy and Silvanus and I have preached to you about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In Him there is no yes and no. In Him is yes. Jesus says yes to all of God’s many promises. It is through Jesus that we say, “Let it be so,” when we give thanks to God."

In addition to this, God has been loyal in keeping so many promises for our well-being ... However, since it is up to us to decide whether we want them or not, this does not devalue that God always be loyal ... example:
1. Promise of Salvation: "This is what it says, “The Good News is near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart.” This Good News tells about putting your trust in Christ. This is what we preach to you. If you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved from the punishment of sin. When we believe in our hearts, we are made right with God. We tell with our mouth how we were saved from the punishment of sin. The Holy Writings say, “No one who puts his trust in Christ will ever be put to shame.”" (Romans 10: 8-11). God will remain loyal even we make the decision or not about confess that Jesus is Lord.
2. Promise of Victory: "But we have power over all these things through Jesus Who loves us so much. For I know that nothing can keep us from the love of God. Death cannot! Life cannot! Angels cannot! Leaders cannot! Any other power cannot! Hard things now or in the future cannot! The world above or the world below cannot! Any other living thing cannot keep us away from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8: 37-39). God will remain loyal whether we take that victory or not.
5. Promise of the Holy Spirit: "The Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Father will send Him in My place. He will teach you everything and help you remember everything I have told you. “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give peace to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid." (John 14: 26-27).
Is God loyal?
Let us remember, "The rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return there without giving water to the earth. This makes plants grow on the earth, and gives seeds to the planter and bread to the eater. So My Word which goes from My mouth will not return to Me empty. It will do what I want it to do, and will carry out My plan well." (Isaiah 55: 10-11)

3. Promise of Provision: "And my God will give you everything you need because of His great riches in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19). God will continue to keep His Word whether or not we understand that God provided for us.
4. Promise of Strengthening: "He gives strength to the weak. And He gives power to him who has little strength. Even very young men get tired and become weak and strong young men trip and fall. But they who wait upon the Lord will get new strength. They will rise up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weak." (Isaiah 40: 29-31). God will continue to keep his promise to strengthen us ... it is up to us to wait on God!5. Promise of the Holy Spirit: "The Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Father will send Him in My place. God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
