And now ¿who will be able to help me?

James 5:13-18

'Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone happy? He should sing songs of thanks to God. Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the church leaders and they should pray for him. They should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord. The prayer given in faith will heal the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Tell your sins to each other. And pray for each other so you may be healed. The prayer from the heart of a man right with God has much power. Elijah was a man as we are. He prayed that it might not rain. It did not rain on the earth for three and one-half years. Then he prayed again that it would rain. It rained much and the fields of the earth gave fruit.'

It is true that when we are sent to do some work many times we go around trying to justify why we can not do it ... It is a pity, we should often think about what we have to develop it.

Today I want to remember that it says the Word of God about us.

1. We are not a mistake. We are the product of a plan. God thought of us!
'“Before I started to put you together in your mother, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart as holy. I chose you to speak to the nations for Me.”' (Jeremiah 1:5)

2. When we thought that there was no way out and that we were no longer useful, Jesus was:
'... Who saved us from the punishment of sin. He is the One Who chose us to do His work. It is not because of anything we have done. But it was His plan from the beginning that He would give us His loving-favor through Christ Jesus.' (2 Timothy 1:9)

3. And not only that ... We were called to serve God !!
'My Christian brothers, that is the way it is with you. You were under the power of the Law. But now you are dead to it because you are joined to another. You are joined to Christ Who was raised from the dead. This is so we may be what God wants us to be. Our lives are to give fruit for Him.' (Romans 7:4)

4. Ahh! And we are not alone, The Holy Spirit is with us !!
'Then I will ask My Father and He will give you another Helper. He will be with you forever. He is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot receive Him. It does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He lives with you and will be in you.' (John 14:16-17)

5. In case we do not know how to do the work, the Holy Spirit ... a little help will give us !!
'The Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Father will send Him in My place. He will teach you everything and help you remember everything I have told you.' (John 14:26)

Today, ¿shouldn't we going to do our work or we must let ourselves be led by the Spirit of God?
