Work vs Instant (Part 2)

Genesis 2:3
'Then God honored the seventh day and made it holy, because in it He rested from all His work which He had done.'
6 días y al séptimo descansó!
Philippians 2:5
'Think as Christ Jesus thought.'

Yes, 33 years!

We see that God has been interested through the Bible to teach us the value of work, dedication, effort and whether we use all those things obviously we may obtain a prize. However, in our society the 'Everything for now without effort' moves.
"I want money cheating" ... "I want money without working" ... "Relations without getting married" ... "I want employment but I do not send Resumes" ... "I want to learn an instrument without dedication" ... "I want my ministry to grow without fasting or prayer". ... "I want to increase my money by doing the same" ... "90 60 90 without exercising" ... "I want respect for my children without teaching them moral or Bible" ... etc ...
The world and its rare standards!

The saddest thing of all is:
¿What does a child of God do following these steps that the world poses?
'Let these people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.' (Jeremiah 15:19b)
We want to get results without even moving a finger.

Today is a good day to understand that there are no magic wands... ¡There is determination, effort and dedication! Today let us shake our laziness and let us begin to use the capacities that God has given us!

Versicles to consider:
1. 'The soul of the lazy person has strong desires but gets nothing, but the soul of the one who does his best gets more than he needs.' (Proverbs 13:4)
2. 'Go to the ant, O lazy person. Watch and think about her ways, and be wise. She has no leader, head or ruler, but she gets her food ready in the summer, and gathers her food at the right time. How long will you lie down, O lazy person? When will you rise up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little rest, a little folding of the hands to rest, and being poor will come upon you like a robber, and your need like a man ready to fight.' (Proverbs 6:6-11)

3. 'The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands will not work.' (Proverbs 21:25)

¿A little slumber? or ¿A little determination?
¿What are we doing today?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
