Do not be fooled...
Galatians 6:6-8
'He who is taught God’s Word should share the good things he has with his teacher. Do not be fooled. You cannot fool God. A man will get back whatever he plants! If a man does things to please his sinful old self, his soul will be lost. If a man does things to please the Holy Spirit, he will have life that lasts forever.'
The Lord is:
'... the King Who lives forever. He is the One Who never dies and Who is never seen. He is the One Who knows all things. He is the only God. Let it be so.' (1 Timothy 1:17)
He is :
'... God, Who only is wise, be honored forever through our Lord Jesus Christ. Let it be so.' (Romans 16:27)
To which we:
'Know that the Lord is God. It is He Who made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His field.' (Psalm 100:3)
'We are His work. He has made us to belong to Christ Jesus so we can work for Him. He planned that we should do this.' (Ephesians 2:10)
We must understand that:
'No one can hide from God. His eyes see everything we do. We must give an answer to God for what we have done.' (Hebrews 4:13)
While is true that:
'... God had so much loving-kindness. He loved us with such a great love. Even when we were dead because of our sins, He made us alive by what Christ did for us. You have been saved from the punishment of sin by His loving-favor.), '(Ephesians 2:4-5)
And:
'... I came so they might have life, a great full life.' (John 10:10b)
We must understand too that:
'God is always right in how He judges. He is angry with the sinful every day. If a man is not sorry for his sins and will not turn from them, God will make His sword sharp. He will string His bow and make it ready. He takes up His sword and the bow of death. And He makes arrows of fire. See how the sinful man thinks up sins and plans trouble and lies start growing inside him. He has dug out a deep hole, and has fallen into the hole he has dug. The trouble he makes will return to him. When he hurts others it will come down on his own head.' (Psalms 7:11-16)
Therefore, Today we should ....
'Put yourselves through a test. See if you belong to Christ. Then you will know you belong to Christ, unless you do not pass the test.' (2 Corinthians 13:5)
And if there is evil, we must:
'... be sorry for this sin of yours and turn from it. Pray to the Lord that He will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. I see that you are full of jealousy and chained by your sin.”' (Acts 8: 22-23)
