Christian brothers... think about these things!
Filipenses 4:8
'Christian brothers, keep your minds thinking about whatever is true, whatever is respected, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever can be loved, and whatever is well thought of. If there is anything good and worth giving thanks for, think about these things.'Reading the Bible and meditating on it brings its benefits as if in fact already "we do not know God by hearing but now our eyes see it", makes us keep in mind the promises that the Lord tells us and the another point is the preaching to other people will be simple and practical.
The problem is: ¿How much do we know about the Bible? ¿Do we know more Bible since yesterday? ¿Any new versicle?
The idea is not that we consider ourselves invincible with the repertoire of verses we have, is to reaffirm our dependence on the Lord, to recognize that every day of our lives we hunger and thirst for Lord, that our day would not be the same if He does not guide our steps... It's about our relationship with God!
Between more and more memorize Bible's versicles surely in this we will think!
In the same way our preparation is in the Word of God, meditating on it day by day and night by night!!
'Ahh, I do not have time!' Let's buy some hearing aids, download the spoken Bible, and listen it while we're going on the road.
Let's take the time to meditate, analyze and memorize the Word of God...
¿Is there a longing to read the Bible? ¿Do we meditate on the Bible? ¿Do we apply the teaching of the Bible to our lives? ¿Do we propagate the Bible?
Recall that:
The Word of God transforms, purifies and abides!
"You have made your souls pure by obeying the truth through the Holy Spirit. This has given you a true love for the Christians. Let it be a true love from the heart. You have been given a new birth. It was from a seed that cannot die. This new life is from the Word of God which lives forever. All people are like grass. Their greatness is like the flowers. The grass dries up and the flowers fall off. But the Word of the Lord will last forever. That Word is the Good News which was preached to you." (1 Peter 1:22-25).
¿What do we say? ¿One more verse to our repertoire?
God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
