It is while we have life that we speak and we thank God... ¿Dead already for what? ... Do not we postpone the "Thank you" to God! (Part I)
Luke 17:11-18
'Jesus went on His way to Jerusalem. He was passing between the countries of Samaria and Galilee. As He was going into one of the towns, ten men with a bad skin disease came to Him. They stood a little way off. They called to Him, “Jesus! Teacher! Take pity on us!” When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go and show yourselves to the religious leaders.” As they went, they were healed. One of them turned back when he saw he was healed. He thanked God with a loud voice. He got down on his face at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him. He was from the country of Samaria. Jesus asked, “Were there not ten men who were healed? Where are the other nine? Is this stranger from another country the only one who turned back to give thanks to God?”'Issue: We all know that we are not eternal, but we live acting as if we were ... It has become routine everything we do but it is far from us to give thanks to God ... We are putting off praying and thanking to God!
Example: "Then he said, ‘I know what I will do. I will take down my grain building and I will build a bigger one. I will put all my grain and other things I own into it. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many good things put away in your building. It will be all you need for many years to come. Now rest and eat and drink and have lots of fun.”’ But God said to him, ‘You fool! Tonight your soul will be taken from you. Then who will have all the things you have put away?’ It is the same with a man who puts away riches for himself and does not have the riches of God.”"(Luke 12:18-21).
Take into account: "You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life? It is like fog. You see it and soon it is gone." (James 4:14)
To apply: "O God, You are my God. I will look for You with all my heart and strength. My soul is thirsty for You. My flesh is weak wanting You in a dry and tired land where there is no water. So I have seen You in the holy place. And I have seen Your power and Your shining-greatness. My lips will praise You because Your loving-kindness is better than life. So I will give honor to You as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in Your name." (Psalms 63:1-4)
¿What will say the 'Case 2'?
God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
