"It is not always everything what happen us is by sin, but by formation of the Lord" How so? Hmm? That's possible? (Part II)
John 9: 1-11
'As Jesus went on His way, He saw a man who had been born blind. His followers asked Him, “Teacher, whose sin made this man to be born blind? Was it the sin of this man or the sin of his parents?” Jesus answered, “The sin of this man or the sin of his parents did not make him to be born blind. He was born blind so the work of God would be seen in him. We must keep on doing the work of Him Who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no man can work. While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” After Jesus had said this, He spit on the ground. He mixed it with dust and put that mud on the eyes of the blind man. Then Jesus said to him, “Go and wash in the pool of Siloam.” (Siloam means Sent.) The man went away and washed. When he came back, he could see. Neighbors and others had seen him begging. They said, “Is not this the man who sat and begged?” Some said, “This is the one.” Others said, “No, but he looks like him.” But the man who had been blind said, “I am the man.” They said to him, “How were your eyes opened?” He answered, “A Man called Jesus made mud and put it on my eyes. Then He said to me, ‘Go and wash in the pool of Siloam.’ I went and washed and I can see.”'¿What happened to him?
- Satan insisted on destroying him: Job 1:9-10, Job 2:4-7
- He lost all that he had: "Then Job stood up and tore his clothing and cut the hair from his head. And he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said, “Without clothing I was born from my mother, and without clothing I will return. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Praise the name of the Lord.”" (Job 1:20-21)
- His wife despised him: "Job took a piece of a broken pot to try to cut off the sores while he sat among the ashes. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold on to your faith? Curse God and die!”" (Job 2:8-9)
- His friends judged him without cause: Job 4, Job 5, Job 11, Job 15, Job 18, Job 22 ...
All this was before it was prospered much more than it was before ...
¿Could we attribute all this to sin?
3. Joseph: "So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all this, there is no one as understanding and wise as you are. My house will be put in your care. And all my people will do as you say. Only on the throne will I be greater than you.”Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have put you in power over all the land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh took the ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand. He dressed him in clothes of fine cloth. He put a gold chain around his neck. He had him travel in his second wagon of honor. And they called out in front of him, “Bow down!” Pharaoh put him in power over all the land of Egypt. Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. But unless it is your will, no one will raise his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh gave Joseph the name of Zaphenath-paneah. He gave him for a wife Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera who was the religious leader of On. So Joseph went out through the land of Egypt." (Genesis 41:39-45)
¿What happened to him?
- His brothers detested him and hate him: "Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his sons, because Joseph was born when he was an old man. And Israel made him a long coat of many colors. His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers. So they hated Joseph and could not speak a kind word to him." (Genesis 37:3-4)
- He was envied for his dreams: "Then his brothers said to him, “Are you going to be our king? Are you going to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for what he said." (Genesis 37:8), "Joseph’s brothers were jealous of him. But his father thought about what he said." (Genesis 37:11)
- He was threatened, despised and sold as a slave: "They said to one another, “Here comes this dreamer! Now come and let us kill him and throw him into one of the deep holes. Then we will say that a wild animal ate him. And we will see what becomes of his dreams!”" (Genesis 37:19-20), "And they took him and threw him into the hole. The hole was empty and had no water in it." (Genesis 37:24), "Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him. For he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. Some Midianite traders were passing by. So the brothers pulled Joseph up out of the hole. And they sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver, and they took Joseph to Egypt." (Genesis 37:27-28)
- It was accused without just cause: "When his boss heard his wife’s story and her words, “This is what your servant did to me,” he became very angry. So Joseph’s boss took him and put him in prison, the place where the men who did wrong against the king were put in chains. So there he was in prison." (Genesis 39:19-20)
All this was before he being someone important in Egypt ...
