¿Why does this happen to me?

John 33:16

'I have told you these things so you may have peace in Me. In the world you will have much trouble. But take hope! I have power over the world!”'

Often when we are asked about a verse, the famous John 3:16 appears with a smile on our lips. But ¿what of the part that says 'that whoever believes in Him shall not perish'?

¿How can we know if we believe in God or not? And ¿how can we strengthen that shield?

So is! As a student's knowledge is verified with a test , we'll be tested.

Today I want to remember a few verses because I know the question 'Why does this happen to me?' it clouds us many times the thought and makes us forget who we are, what we are made of and why things are.

1. 'We know that God makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are chosen to be a part of His plan.' (Romans 8:28): ¿How many circumstances (good or bad in our opinion) Has God used to we become the people we are today?

2. 'My Christian brothers, you should be happy when you have all kinds of tests. You know these prove your faith. It helps you not to give up. Learn well how to wait so you will be strong and complete and in need of nothing.' (James 1:2-4): Do we ever think that trials help us to rely on God and not only that, but that this results in spiritual growth?

3. 'The man who does not give up when tests come is happy. After the test is over, he will receive the crown of life. God has promised this to those who love Him. When you are tempted to do wrong, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God cannot be tempted. He will never tempt anyone. A man is tempted to do wrong when he lets himself be led by what his bad thoughts tell him to do.' (James 1:12-14): Testimony! ¿Had we thought that the conduct we have in the face of such a situation and the demonstration that we really have faith in the Lord is the one that will draw those around us (Acts and works to fulfil Joshua 24:15) in order to that certainly they can believe that if it is true that it exists God and He respond too so that people can believe and give glory to God? A Christian must be molded, sanctified and prepared for every good work ... for this the tests are required 'The body is dead when there is no spirit in it. It is the same with faith. Faith is dead when nothing is done.' (James 2:26)

Tests form us, bring us closer to God, help us to evangelise.

¿Will we look at the test today in what way?
Let us continue to pray that God never delay (Luke 18:1-8).
