¿What should I do with my children?

Deuteronomy 6:1-2

'“These are the Laws which the Lord your God has told me to teach you. You are to do them in the land you are going to take for your own. Then you and your son and your grandson will fear the Lord your God. You will obey all His Laws that I tell you, all the days of your life. And then you will have a longer life.'

Therefore, continuously:
'Keep these words in your heart that I am telling you today. Do your best to teach them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up."(Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

God has said that blessed is:
'Good will come to your children ...' (Deuteronomy 28:4) (The fruit of your womb)

And that:
'They will not work for nothing, or give birth to children and have trouble. For they will be the children of those who receive good from the Lord, and their children with them.' (Isaiah 65:23)

Also:
'See, children are a gift from the Lord. The children born to us are our special reward.' (Psalm 127:3)

God has already declared this about your offspring ...

So that you:
'Bring up a child by teaching him the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn away from it.' (Proverbs 22:6)

'Anyone who does not take care of his family and those in his house has turned away from the faith. He is worse than a person who has never put his trust in Christ.' (1 Timothy 5:8)

Note that:
'He who does not punish his son when he needs it hates him, but he who loves him will punish him when he needs it.' (Proverbs 13:24)

And if necessary:
'Do not keep from punishing the child if he needs it. If you beat him with the stick, he will not die. 14 Beat him with the stick, and save his soul from hell.' (Proverbs 23:13-14)

But beware:
'Fathers, do not be so hard on your children that they will give up trying to do what is right.' (Colossians 3:21)

Remember that the task of instructing your children was entrusted to you and not to a school, church, grandparents or a stranger.

'Obey the Word of God. If you hear only and do not act, you are only fooling yourself.' (James 1:22)

Do not wait for God to say:
'“It is bad for the children who will not obey!” says the Lord, “They act on a plan that is not Mine, and make an agreement that is not of My Spirit, and so add sin to sin."(Isaiah 30:1)
