¿Do you want to be close to the Father?

Psalm 66:16-20

'Come and hear, all who fear God, and I will tell you what He has done for me. I cried to Him with my mouth and praised Him with my tongue. The Lord will not hear me if I hold on to sin in my heart. But it is sure that God has heard. He has listened to the voice of my prayer. Honor and thanks be to God! He has not turned away from my prayer or held His loving-kindness from me.'

For his mercies are:
'It is new every morning. He is so very faithful. “The Lord is my share.” says my soul, “so I have hope in Him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the one who looks for Him.' (Lamentations 3:23-25)

You could experience this and more ... Do not leave this for tomorrow .. Start today to:
'Look for the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near.' (Isaiah 55:6)

Do not let it pass or do not ignore it... if you are thirsty look that:
'“Listen! Every one who is thirsty, come to the waters. And you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.' (Isaiah 55:1)

If you are weak:
'Beat your plows into swords, and your vine hooks into spears. Let the weak say, “I am a powerful soldier.”' (Joel 3:10)

And when you find yourself in circumstances you do not know what to do:
'If you do not have wisdom, ask God for it. He is always ready to give it to you and will never say you are wrong for asking.' (James 1:5)

Come closer:
'“They were to look for God. Then they might feel after Him and find Him because He is not far from each one of us.' (Acts 17:27)

He is not far away as you have been told .. He simply wishes:
'... that you are doing well in every way. I pray that your body is strong and well even as your soul is.' (3 John 1:2)
