¿Did we complain because they gave us vinegar instead of water? (Part I)

Psalm 69:21
'They gave me bitter drink in my food. And because I was thirsty they gave me sour wine.'
John 19:28-29
'Jesus knew that everything was now finished. Everything happened as the Holy Writings said it would happen. He said, “I am thirsty.” There was a jar full of sour wine near. They filled a sponge and put it on a stick and put it to His mouth.'

We have all gone through situations that we surely would not want to live them again, but it is absurd to think that we will not happen more situations of that style or worse. But ¿why do you say this? The reason is because Jesus himself said "I have told you these things so you may have peace in Me. In the world you will have much trouble. But take hope! I have power over the world!”" (John 16:33) ..." In the world you will have much trouble; But take hope!" So ¿what is affliction? According to the dictionary, affliction is a deep feeling of sadness, pain, sorrow or suffering.
But ¿why should we going through this?
Because God chose us before the foundation of the world...
"Even before the world was made, God chose us for Himself because of His love. He planned that we should be holy and without blame as He sees us. God already planned to have us as His own children. This was done by Jesus Christ. In His plan God wanted this done." (Ephesians 1:4-5)
Because we are children of God...
"He gave the right and the power to become children of God to those who received Him. He gave this to those who put their trust in His name." (John 1:12)
But we are in the world ...
"I do not ask You to take them out of the world. I ask You to keep them from the devil. My followers do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world. Make them holy for Yourself by the truth. Your Word is truth. “As You sent Me into the world so I have sent them into the world also." (John 17:15-18)
...as the one who has control over the whole world is ...
"We know that we belong to God, but the whole world is under the power of the devil." (1 John 5:19)
... the evil one and he will not tolerate that we walk in holiness ...
"For you are children of the light and of the day. We are not of darkness or of night." (1 Thessalonians 5:5),
...so he wants to do everything he can ...
"The eyes of those who do not believe are made blind by Satan who is the god of this world. He does not want the light of the Good News to shine in their hearts. This Good News shines as the shining-greatness of Christ. Christ is as God is." (2 Corinthians 4:4)
...to make us lose the look of Christ...
"Let us keep looking to Jesus. Our faith comes from Him and He is the One Who makes it perfect. He did not give up when He had to suffer shame and die on a cross. He knew of the joy that would be His later. Now He is sitting at the right side of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
And make us go to astray ...
"But as for me, my feet came close to falling. My steps had almost tripped." (Psalms 73:2).
Now we understand that it should come as no surprise that when we ask for help each time we are passing something, instead of help we receive problems or damage.

¿What do you think?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
