¿Are we obedient?

God commanded:
Deuteronomy 7:1-6
'“The Lord your God will bring you into the land you are taking for your own. He will drive away many nations in front of you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations bigger and stronger than you. When the Lord your God gives them to you and you win the battles against them, you must destroy all of them. Make no agreement with them and show no favor to them. Do not take any of them in marriage. Do not give your daughters to their sons. And do not take their daughters for your sons. For they will turn your sons away from following Me to serve other gods. Then the anger of the Lord will burn against you. And He will be quick to destroy you. But do this to them: Break down their altars. Crush their objects of worship. Cut down their female goddess Asherim. And burn their false gods with fire. “For you are a holy nation to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the nations on the earth, to be His own.'

But the people did:
Judges 1:27-33
'But the men of Manasseh did not take for their own Bethshean and its towns or Taanach and its towns. They did not drive out the people of Dor and its towns, or of Ibleam and its towns, or of Megiddo and its towns. So the Canaanites stayed in that land. When Israel became strong, they made the Canaanites work for them. But they did not drive all of them out. Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites who were living in Gezer. So the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them. Zebulun did not drive out the people of Kitron or the people of Nahalol. So the Canaanites lived among them and were made to work. Asher did not drive out the people of Acco, or the people of Sidon, Ahlab, Achzib, Helbah, Aphik, or Rehob. So the Asherites lived among the Canaanites, the people of the land. For they did not drive them out. Naphtali did not drive out the people of Beth-shemesh or the people of Beth-anath. But they lived among the Canaanites, the people of the land. The people of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath were made to work for them.'

God gives us instructions and we as children should obey only by understanding that there is no better direction for our lives than his will.
The question is:
¿What does the Book of Life say about us?
'And he turned away from a ...', 'and disobeyed my voice', 'and lived a life saying he was Christian but he never spoke to Me', 'I gave him power and self-control but he lived full of fears', 'He was always a son with stiff neck'

Do we really know what it says?
