The scarcity of the heart

Acts 28:27
For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”’”

It is not easy at all to be in a situation where we will hardly have to eat, it is not at all easy to have to leave your children with a smile saying: "I'll come back later, I'll buy something to eat" when we do not even know if this will be or not possible, it is something so desperate when our child approaches and says "Dad or Mom, I'm hungry" and you have nothing to give. It is not at all easy for a young man to see no other way out but to indulge in the pleasures of a group by acceptance, because in his home he finds no support, comfort, direction and no one understand him, it is not at all easy when a young man is in a situation where he longs for a hug and a "Everything will be fine" and can not find it, it is not at all easy for a person who has lost everything, to have to ask for money on a urban transport or sit on the floor of a street and having to put up with the contempt, bad face and mockery.

These situations day by day happens countless times around us ... a neighbor, a friend's son, who asks in the street that we frequent.
What have been our attitude on this? "They are in that way because ...", "It is not my son! So ...", "Every day He ask for money! He minimum use it to ..."
Bible says:
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."(Luke 6:45) ¿Is our good treasure the criticism?

We have been also in that way ... But we have been rescued, forgiven, washed with the Lamb's blood and saved ... "And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."(1 Corinthians 6:11) ... We had our heart of stone and the Lord took it and put one Of flesh, a sensible one ... "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."(Galatians 6: 9).
Have we wondered what Jesus Christ would do with all those people?
"But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few." (Matthew 9:36-37)

Now, We already have received sight in order to can see the need around us and be an outstretched arm of the Lord to give them ... "If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?"(James 2: 15-16)

With scarcity of the heart?
What are we doing today?
Well, we can start by having a Word of God at hand and a food in our suitcase, purse or backpack for example so that we do not leave pass the next need.

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
