Getting drunk?

Getting drunk?

Isaiah 5:11
“It is bad for those who get up early in the morning to run after strong drink! It is bad for those who stay up late in the evening that they may get drunk!”

When someone has consumed a lot alcohol is consumed someone This status produces on the subject a intoxication
This intoxication is produced due to the subject's body cannot process the high levels of alcohol has been consumed.
Generally, a drunk loses reflections, motor skills, cannot stand, also loses lucid, judgment and self-control. Even continuously put in danger his life as like the others as well. “Wine makes people act in a foolish way. Strong drink starts fights. Whoever is fooled by it is not wise.” (Proverbs 20:1)
“The dogs are hungry and never have enough. The shepherds have no understanding. They have all turned to their own way, each one wanting to get things for himself that are not his. “Come,” they say, “let us get wine. Let us drink much strong drink. And tomorrow will be even better than today.”” (Isaiah 56:11-12).
Many have lost honor, respect, money, friends even family ... In short period of time they are being alone therefore instead of do a turning point they surrender themselves to alcohol again and are got worse even more… “Those who stay a long time over wine. Those who go to taste mixed wine. Do not look at wine when it is red, when it shines in the cup, when it is smooth in going down. In the end it bites like a snake. It stings like the bite of a snake with poison. Your eyes will see strange things. Your mind will say the wrong things. And you will be like one who lies down in the center of the sea, or like one who lies above a ship’s sail. “They hit me, but I was not hurt. They beat me, but I did not know it. When will I wake up? I will look for another drink.”” (Proverbs 23:30-35)

What is the purpose of our life if we are going to be absent due to alcohol? It would be worth it losing everything due to lack of conscientiousness and wisdom?
Have you ever saw someone solving problems by drinking alcohol? Absolutely no, why so continue do it if we already know is not a wise decision?
Remember, when the effect wears off the problem will be there in the same place were you left it.
However, the real problem here is "alcohol drinkers have no place in the holy nation of God": “Do you not know that sinful men will have no place in the holy nation of God? Do not be fooled. A person who does sex sins, or who worships false gods, or who is not faithful in marriage, or men who act like women, or people who do sex sins with their own sex, will have no place in the holy nation of God. Also those who steal, or those who always want to get more of everything, or who get drunk, or who say bad things about others, or take things that are not theirs, will have no place in the holy nation of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
Do you want to break every alcohol chains? Well, let's go to read what the Bible says:
1. Who can set us free? Jesus!: “Jesus answered them, “For sure, I tell you, everyone who sins is the servant of sin because sin has a hold on him. And the servant does not belong in the house. The son belongs in the house. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free for sure.” (John 8:34-36)
2. What should we do? Take a decision!: “If we say that we have no sin, we lie to ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we tell Him our sins, He is faithful and we can depend on Him to forgive us of our sins. He will make our lives clean from all sin.” (1 John 1:8-9)
3. What I am now? A new person!: “For if a man belongs to Christ, he is a new person. The old life is gone. New life has begun.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
4. How avoid turning back? Be strong with the Lord’s strength!: “This is the last thing I want to say: Be strong with the Lord’s strength.” (Ephesians 6:10)
5. Are you sure we can do it? Absolutely yes!: “I can do all things because Christ gives me the strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
6. Where we can found more information about how to overcome this? Continuously read the Bible!: “All the Holy Writings are God-given and are made alive by Him. Man is helped when he is taught God’s Word. It shows what is wrong. It changes the way of a man’s life. It shows him how to be right with God. It gives the man who belongs to God everything he needs to work well for Him.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) that's why “This book of the Law must not leave your mouth. Think about it day and night, so you may be careful to do all that is written in it. Then all will go well with you. You will receive many good things. Have I not told you? Be strong and have strength of heart! Do not be afraid or lose faith. For the Lord your God is with you anywhere you go.”” (Joshua 1:8-9)

Warnings:
1. Being careful: “For the man who drinks too much or eats too much will become poor, and much sleep will dress a man in torn clothes. Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not hate your mother when she is old.” (Proverbs 23:20-21) … “So watch yourself! The person who thinks he can stand against sin had better watch that he does not fall into sin.” (1 Corinthians 10:12)
2. We are King’s religious leaders: “But you are a chosen group of people. You are the King’s religious leaders. You are a holy nation. You belong to God. He has done this for you so you can tell others how God has called you out of darkness into His great light.” (1 Peter 2:9)… así que “It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to desire strong drink. Or they might drink and forget the law, and go against the rights of all who are suffering.” (Proverbs 31:4-5)
Jesus has comes to save us from our biggest problem “For the Son of Man came to look for and to save from the punishment of sin those who are lost.” (Luke 19:10).

We must keep an eye out for this kind of situation… Our reputation, honor, respect, incomes, truly value, family, friends, work and everything we has been reached from God is still on the table… A simple mistake, everything fall down!

The young drinkers are not the problem, they are the consequences

“Do not get drunk with wine. That leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18)

Philippians 3: 12-14
“I do not say that I have received this or have already become perfect. But I keep going on to make that life my own as Christ Jesus made me His own. No, Christian brothers, I do not have that life yet. But I do one thing. I forget everything that is behind me and look forward to that which is ahead of me. My eyes are on the crown. I want to win the race and get the crown of God’s call from heaven through Christ Jesus.”

Dear readers of this blog, how are you?
I hope that everybody are very well!

How many parts are they?
I can only report that there are several parts that comprise this project that focus on our edification through the knowledge of the Word, looking for a relationship with God and transmit life, light, joy to every creature, that is, "He said to them, “You are to go to all the world and preach the Good News to every person." (Mark 16:15)

Now, while that happens, I invite you to continue reading the other articles you have not read and do not forget to share them!

Relegated? Missed? (Part II)

1 Samuel 16: 5-10
"Samuel said, “I have come in peace to give a gift to the Lord. Make yourselves holy and come with me as I give the gift.” He set apart Jesse and his sons also, and asked them to come to the gift-giving. When they had come, Samuel looked at Eliab and thought, “For sure he is the Lord’s chosen one who is standing before Him.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at the way he looks on the outside or how tall he is, because I have not chosen him. For the Lord does not look at the things man looks at. A man looks at the outside of a person, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Then Jesse called Abinadab and made him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one.” Next Jesse made Shammah pass by. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one.” Jesse made seven of his sons pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.”"

1. God created you blessed: "Good will come to you in the city, and good will come to you in the country. Good will come to your children, and the fruit of your ground, and the young of your animals. Your cattle and flock will have many young ones. Good will come to your basket and your bread pan. Good will come to you when you come in, and when you go out. “The Lord will cause you to win the battles against those who fight against you. They will come against you one way, and run away from you seven ways. The Lord will send good upon you in your store-houses and in all your work. He will bring good to you in the land the Lord your God gives you. The Lord will make you a holy nation to Himself, as He promised you. But you must keep the Laws of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. Then all the nations of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord and they will be afraid of you. The Lord will give much to you. He will give you many children, and many young ones among your animals, and much food from the ground, in the land the Lord promised to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open for you His good store-house, the heavens. He will give rain to your land at the right time. He will bring good to all the work you do. You will give to many nations. But you will not use anything that belongs to them. The Lord will make you the head and not the tail. If you listen to the Laws of the Lord your God which I tell you today and be careful to obey them, you will only be above and not below. Do not turn aside from any of the words I tell you today, to the right or to the left. Do not follow other gods and work for them." (Deuteronomy 28: 3-14) ... If you do not depart from the ordinances that God has spoken to you through His blessed Word!
2. God will use you: "Christian brothers, think who you were when the Lord called you. Not many of you were wise or powerful or born into the family of leaders of a country. But God has chosen what the world calls foolish to shame the wise. He has chosen what the world calls weak to shame what is strong. God has chosen what is weak and foolish of the world, what is hated and not known, to destroy the things the world trusts in. In that way, no man can be proud as he stands before God." (1 Corinthians 1: 26-29) ... Would you believe That God created you in His image and likeness to be a hindrance? God will use you!
3. God has a good vision: "Samuel said, “I have come in peace to give a gift to the Lord. Make yourselves holy and come with me as I give the gift.” He set apart Jesse and his sons also, and asked them to come to the gift-giving. 6 When they had come, Samuel looked at Eliab and thought, “For sure he is the Lord’s chosen one who is standing before Him.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at the way he looks on the outside or how tall he is, because I have not chosen him. For the Lord does not look at the things man looks at. A man looks at the outside of a person, but the Lord looks at the heart.”" (1 Samuel 16: 5-7) ... Peaceful, God is never wrong and what He said He would do to you, He will do it!

But what if those who have despised you do not call you when the Lord comes?
"Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are these all the children?” And Jesse said, “There is yet the youngest one. See, he is taking care of the sheep.” Samuel said to Jesse, “Send for him. We will not sit down until he comes here.”" (1 Samuel 16:11)
Calm down, if no one sends you to look for you ... God will never sit at the table until you do not arrive!
Remember, you were thought, you were created, you are healed, you are restored, you are valuable and you are too useful in the hands of the Lord!
Quiet that although now it seems that you are on the bench, God knows the potential that deposited in you ... Do you believe?

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!

"Why you going to put in charge of that if you know that you aren't good for nothing?", "Why do you waste time explaining if you know it is not going to do?", "Do not count with him!" , "Definitely does not look like our son", "Get out! You are a problem! "," It never fits right! "," You only serve to clog "," We do not want to see you! "," You're the shame of the house! "...
How many sentences of these we heard in our childhood, adolescence and even in our adulthood?
Now, how many sentences like these we have believed?
You who feel that you are a zero on the left, you who are despised, you who have been relegated, you who feel that you are a nuisance, you who cry in silence and believe that God does not know ... God's Word has news for you!
"“Those who know there is nothing good in themselves are happy, because the holy nation of heaven is theirs. Those who have sorrow are happy, because they will be comforted."(Matthew 5: 3-4)
Whose consolation? God himself has prepared for you consolation, God has come for the sheep that have been despised, all those that have been mistreated and God Himself wants to heal them and give them the right place "I will feed My sheep, and give them rest,” says the Lord God. “I will look for the lost, bring back those that have gone away, help those who have been hurt, and give strength to the sick. But I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them with punishment." (Ezekiel 34: 15-16) ... A sheepfold is a shelter where the shepherd gathers the sheep to protect them from the weather and the predators, that is, God himself has said that he wants to give you peace , security, tranquility and protection! Yes! God is the one who has said that "He will cover you with His wings. And under His wings you will be safe. He is faithful like a safe-covering and a strong wall." (Psalm 91: 4)
God wants to heal every wound and restore you ... and also longs for you to discard all accusation that has been made about you because:

Should we practice masturbation to feel full and fulfilled? (Part III)

Should we practice masturbation to feel full and fulfilled? (Part III)

1 Corinthians 7: 3-9
"The husband should please his wife as a husband. The wife should please her husband as a wife. The wife is not the boss of her own body. It belongs to the husband. And in the same way, the husband is not the boss of his own body. It belongs to the wife. Do not keep from each other that which belongs to each other in marriage unless you agree for awhile so you can use your time to pray. Then come together again or the devil will tempt you to do that which you know you should not do. This is what I think. I am not saying you must do it. 7 I wish everyone were as I am, but each has his own gift from God. One has one gift. Another has another gift. This is what I say to those who are not married and to women whose husbands have died. It is good if you do not get married. I am not married. But if you are not able to keep from doing that which you know is wrong, get married. It is better to get married than to have such strong sex desires."

If everything is born from a thought, why do not we avoid it? "We do not use those things to fight with that the world uses. We use the things God gives to fight with and they have power. Those things God gives to fight with destroy the strong-places of the devil. We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ." (2 Corinthians 10: 4-5)
When was the last time that we take hold a thought captive to obedience to Christ?
We can not give vent to our thoughts and even worse, to execute them without the approval of God ...
As we read in James 1: 12-16, a bad thought can awaken desire, the desire awaken lasciviousness, the lasciviousness awaken lust and the lust carry us to commit all sexual immorality with our bodies ... such as among these includes relief by practicing the masturbation.
So, taking into account all of the above, let us answer:
With masturbation we could procreate?
Is masturbation the right way to delight us with our partner in the framework of marriage?
Do we consider that we walk in the Spirit when we practice it?
With masturbation do we glorify God with our bodies?

Let us understand that masturbation is sin, does not please God, distorts our senses (the masturbation perverts what we see and hear), does not glorify God, make us slaves, and distorts sexuality in marriage.
"Jesus answered them, “For sure, I tell you, everyone who sins is the servant of sin because sin has a hold on him." (John 8:34)

So what do we do to get out of this bad practice?
1. What are we looking at ?: We decide to see or not ... "Let us keep looking to Jesus. Our faith comes from Him and He is the One Who makes it perfect. He did not give up when He had to suffer shame and die on a cross. He knew of the joy that would be His later. Now He is sitting at the right side of God."(Hebrews 12: 2).
2. What are we hearing ?: If what we hear will provoke a bad thought that we know will lead us to masturbation ... Which is the reason to listen it? ... "My sheep hear My voice and I know them. They follow Me. I give them life that lasts forever. They will never be punished. No one is able to take them out of My hand." (John 10: 27-28)
3. What are we thinking? Let's analyze that it creates in us these kind of thoughts and we cut it of root! How do we cut them? ... "Brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is good, whatever is good. If there is any virtue, if there be any thing worthy of praise, think on this. "(Philippians 4: 8)
4. When was the last time we told God in prayer that it happens to us ?: It is always at hand ... We use it from today? ... "I called to the Lord in my trouble. I cried to God for help. He heard my voice from His holy house. My cry for help came into His ears." (Psalm 18: 6).
5. When will we make use of our own self-control ?: Self-control is the ability that allows us to control our thoughts and emotions and these do not govern us ... "For God did not give us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of power and of love and of a good mind." (2 Timothy 1: 7)
6. When was the last time that we fasted and meditated on the Word of God?: Usually these thoughts come and are so strong as to avoid them, they come as fiery darts ... It is propitious to fast, meditate on the Word of God and listen to it so that our faith grow and be that shield to counteract that attack ... "I say this to you: Let the Holy Spirit lead you in each step. Then you will not please your sinful old selves. The things our old selves want to do are against what the Holy Spirit wants. The Holy Spirit does not agree with what our sinful old selves want. These two are against each other. So you cannot do what you want to do." (Galatians 5: 16-17)
7. When will we stop?: What if Jesus had postponed the ransom for us? What if Jesus had not made the decision to give us life and life in abundance? Today is the day! Let us not postpone this noxious matter ... "Those of us who belong to Christ have nailed our sinful old selves on His cross. Our sinful desires are now dead." (Galatians 5:24)

Let us take the decision to instruct ourselves in the Word of God, to keep our minds occupied in the affairs of the Kingdom of God, to grow in communion with the Lord through the habit of prayer and fasting, and not to waste time and understand that every practice that is outside of God's divine plan only seeks to rob us, kill us and destroy us!

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!

Should we practice masturbation to feel full and fulfilled? (Part II)

1 Corinthians 7: 3-9
"The husband should please his wife as a husband. The wife should please her husband as a wife. The wife is not the boss of her own body. It belongs to the husband. And in the same way, the husband is not the boss of his own body. It belongs to the wife. But if you are not able to keep from doing that which you know is wrong, get married. It is better to get married than to have such strong sex desires."

In a healthy and holy way? Let's read:
1. "Food was meant for the stomach. The stomach needs food, but God will bring to an end both food and the stomach. The body was not meant for sex sins. It was meant to work for the Lord. The Lord is for our body." (1 Corinthians 6:13)
2. "Marriage should be respected by everyone. God will punish those who do sex sins and are not faithful in marriage." (Hebrews 13: 4)
3. "“You have heard that it was said long ago, ‘You must not do sex sins.’ But I tell you, anyone who even looks at a woman with a sinful desire of wanting her has already sinned in his heart. If your right eye is the reason you sin, take it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. If your right hand is the reason you sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go to hell." (Matthew 5: 27-30)
4. "Have nothing to do with sex sins! Any other sin that a man does, does not hurt his own body. But the man who does a sex sin sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18)

That's it! In a healthy and holy way! The body we have is not ours, it is God's, so everything we do with our body must please God! "For God has not called us to live in sin. He has called us to live a holy life. The one who turns away from this teaching does not turn away from man, but from God. It is God Who has given us His Holy Spirit." (1 Thessalonians 4: 7-8)
Unfortunately, many forget that all fornication, adultery, sexual depravity and everything that concerns this area, is not born overnight ... everything starts from a thought ... "The man who does not give up when tests come is happy. After the test is over, he will receive the crown of life. God has promised this to those who love Him. When you are tempted to do wrong, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God cannot be tempted. He will never tempt anyone. A man is tempted to do wrong when he lets himself be led by what his bad thoughts tell him to do. When he does what his bad thoughts tell him to do, he sins. When sin completes its work, it brings death. My Christian brothers, do not be fooled about this." (James 1: 12-16)
A simple thought that we consider harmless can lead us to commit sexual acts with our body to do not glorify God ... "The things your sinful old self wants to do are: sex sins, sinful desires, wild living, worshiping false gods, witchcraft, hating, fighting, being jealous, being angry, arguing, dividing into little groups and thinking the other groups are wrong, false teaching, wanting something someone else has, killing other people, using strong drink, wild parties, and all things like these. I told you before and I am telling you again that those who do these things will have no place in the holy nation of God." (Galatians 5: 19-21).
If everything is born from a thought why do not we avoid it?

Nowadays many people are confused about if masturbation is a sin or not. So to be able to clarify a little the subject is needed to go to the roots ....
Sex? Why did God create sex? Let's read:
1. "And God made man in His own likeness. In the likeness of God He made him. He made both male and female. And God wanted good to come to them, saying, “Give birth to many. Grow in number. Fill the earth and rule over it. Rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”" (Genesis 1: 27-28)
2. "How beautiful and how pleasing you are, my love! How happy you make me! You stand like a palm tree. And your breasts are like its fruit. I said, ‘I will go to the top of the palm tree. I will take hold of its branches.’ O, may your breasts be like the fruit of the vine, and the sweet smell of your breath like pleasing fruit. And may your mouth be like the best wine.” “For my love, it is smooth going down, flowing through the lips while sleeping. “I am my love’s, and he wants me. Come, my love, let us go to the country. Let us spend the night in the villages. Let us get up early and go to the grape-fields. Let us see if the buds are on the vines, and if its flowers have opened. Let us see if the pomegranates have flowers. There I will give you my love. The mandrakes have given out their sweet smell. And over our doors are all the best fruits, both new and old, which I have saved for you, my love." (Song of Solomon 7:6-13)
3. "Let your well be honored, and be happy with the wife you married when you were young. Let her be like a loving, female deer. Let her breasts please you at all times. Be filled with great joy always because of her love." (Proverbs 5: 18-19)
4. "Do you not know that your body is a house of God where the Holy Spirit lives? God gave you His Holy Spirit. Now you belong to God. You do not belong to yourselves. God bought you with a great price. So honor God with your body. You belong to Him." (1 Corinthians 6: 19-20).

The Word of God teaches us that God created sex to be enjoyed in marriage and we can we can have children, we can delight with our partner in a healthy and holy way.
