Should we practice masturbation to feel full and fulfilled? (Part III)

1 Corinthians 7: 3-9
"The husband should please his wife as a husband. The wife should please her husband as a wife. The wife is not the boss of her own body. It belongs to the husband. And in the same way, the husband is not the boss of his own body. It belongs to the wife. Do not keep from each other that which belongs to each other in marriage unless you agree for awhile so you can use your time to pray. Then come together again or the devil will tempt you to do that which you know you should not do. This is what I think. I am not saying you must do it. 7 I wish everyone were as I am, but each has his own gift from God. One has one gift. Another has another gift. This is what I say to those who are not married and to women whose husbands have died. It is good if you do not get married. I am not married. But if you are not able to keep from doing that which you know is wrong, get married. It is better to get married than to have such strong sex desires."

If everything is born from a thought, why do not we avoid it? "We do not use those things to fight with that the world uses. We use the things God gives to fight with and they have power. Those things God gives to fight with destroy the strong-places of the devil. We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ." (2 Corinthians 10: 4-5)
When was the last time that we take hold a thought captive to obedience to Christ?
We can not give vent to our thoughts and even worse, to execute them without the approval of God ...
As we read in James 1: 12-16, a bad thought can awaken desire, the desire awaken lasciviousness, the lasciviousness awaken lust and the lust carry us to commit all sexual immorality with our bodies ... such as among these includes relief by practicing the masturbation.
So, taking into account all of the above, let us answer:
With masturbation we could procreate?
Is masturbation the right way to delight us with our partner in the framework of marriage?
Do we consider that we walk in the Spirit when we practice it?
With masturbation do we glorify God with our bodies?

Let us understand that masturbation is sin, does not please God, distorts our senses (the masturbation perverts what we see and hear), does not glorify God, make us slaves, and distorts sexuality in marriage.
"Jesus answered them, “For sure, I tell you, everyone who sins is the servant of sin because sin has a hold on him." (John 8:34)

So what do we do to get out of this bad practice?
1. What are we looking at ?: We decide to see or not ... "Let us keep looking to Jesus. Our faith comes from Him and He is the One Who makes it perfect. He did not give up when He had to suffer shame and die on a cross. He knew of the joy that would be His later. Now He is sitting at the right side of God."(Hebrews 12: 2).
2. What are we hearing ?: If what we hear will provoke a bad thought that we know will lead us to masturbation ... Which is the reason to listen it? ... "My sheep hear My voice and I know them. They follow Me. I give them life that lasts forever. They will never be punished. No one is able to take them out of My hand." (John 10: 27-28)
3. What are we thinking? Let's analyze that it creates in us these kind of thoughts and we cut it of root! How do we cut them? ... "Brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is good, whatever is good. If there is any virtue, if there be any thing worthy of praise, think on this. "(Philippians 4: 8)
4. When was the last time we told God in prayer that it happens to us ?: It is always at hand ... We use it from today? ... "I called to the Lord in my trouble. I cried to God for help. He heard my voice from His holy house. My cry for help came into His ears." (Psalm 18: 6).
5. When will we make use of our own self-control ?: Self-control is the ability that allows us to control our thoughts and emotions and these do not govern us ... "For God did not give us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of power and of love and of a good mind." (2 Timothy 1: 7)
6. When was the last time that we fasted and meditated on the Word of God?: Usually these thoughts come and are so strong as to avoid them, they come as fiery darts ... It is propitious to fast, meditate on the Word of God and listen to it so that our faith grow and be that shield to counteract that attack ... "I say this to you: Let the Holy Spirit lead you in each step. Then you will not please your sinful old selves. The things our old selves want to do are against what the Holy Spirit wants. The Holy Spirit does not agree with what our sinful old selves want. These two are against each other. So you cannot do what you want to do." (Galatians 5: 16-17)
7. When will we stop?: What if Jesus had postponed the ransom for us? What if Jesus had not made the decision to give us life and life in abundance? Today is the day! Let us not postpone this noxious matter ... "Those of us who belong to Christ have nailed our sinful old selves on His cross. Our sinful desires are now dead." (Galatians 5:24)

Let us take the decision to instruct ourselves in the Word of God, to keep our minds occupied in the affairs of the Kingdom of God, to grow in communion with the Lord through the habit of prayer and fasting, and not to waste time and understand that every practice that is outside of God's divine plan only seeks to rob us, kill us and destroy us!

God bless you and have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
