¿Laugh?
Psalms 126:2
"Then we laughed with our mouths, and we sang with our tongues. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
God bless you and have a great day in Christ Jesus!
"Then we laughed with our mouths, and we sang with our tongues. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
Sometime in our life we've seen some children laugh unstoppably... So, without know why those children laugh this produces us make laugh too. That's why laughter can transcend and is contagious.
However, rejoice goes further, because joy deals with the capacity to God gave us in order to resist even so times of hardship, oppression and scarcity.
But ¿How so? ¿How is it possible rejoice in all this kind of circumstances?
Because we remember that the Lord:
1. will give us everything we need: "And my God will give you everything you need because of His great riches in Christ Jesus. Now may our God and Father be honored forever. Let it be so."(Philippians 4: 19-20).
2. helps us: "I have taken you from the ends of the earth. I have called you from its farthest parts, and said to you, ‘You are My servant. I have chosen you and have not turned away from you.’ Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will give you strength, and for sure I will help you. Yes, I will hold you up with My right hand that is right and good. See, all those who are angry with you will be put to shame and troubled. Those who fight against you will be as nothing and will be lost. You will look for those who argue with you, but will not find them. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as nothing at all. For I am the Lord your God Who holds your right hand, and Who says to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I will help you.’"(Isaiah 41: 9-13)
3. saves us, "He said, “The Lord is my rock, my strong place, and the One Who sets me free. He is my God, my rock, where I go to be safe. He is my covering and the horn that saves me, my strong place where I go to be safe. You save me from being hurt. I call upon the Lord, Who should be praised. I am saved from those who hate me."(2 Samuel 22: 2-4).
4. has always everything under control: "My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not let your feet go out from under you. He Who watches over you will not sleep. Listen, He Who watches over Israel will not close his eyes or sleep. The Lord watches over you. The Lord is your safe cover at your right hand. The sun will not hurt you during the day and the moon will not hurt you during the night. The Lord will keep you from all that is sinful. He will watch over your soul. The Lord will watch over your coming and going, now and forever."(Psalm 121: 2-8).
We wonder us whether ¿Is required for us another reasons?
"A glad heart makes a happy face, but when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken."(Proverbs 15:13),"A glad heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones."(Proverbs 17:22),"Ezra said to them, “Go, eat and drink what you enjoy, and give some to him who has nothing ready. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be sad for the joy of the Lord is your strength."(Nehemiah 8:10),"Be full of joy all the time. Never stop praying. In everything give thanks. This is what God wants you to do because of Christ Jesus."(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18).
Remember, the Lord longs we learn from Him to rejoice!
We wonder And how we mustn't do so if the Lord supplies us, help us, save us and always has everything under control?
"The Lord gives me a reason to be full of joy. It is because you are able to care for me again. I know you wanted to before but you did not have a way to help me. I am not saying I need anything. I have learned to be happy with whatever I have. I know how to get along with little and how to live when I have much. I have learned the secret of being happy at all times. If I am full of food and have all I need, I am happy. If I am hungry and need more, I am happy. I can do all things because Christ gives me the strength."(Philippians 4: 10-13).
In case emergency ...
"Even if the fig tree does not grow figs and there is no fruit on the vines, even if the olives do not grow and the fields give no food, even if there are no sheep within the fence and no cattle in the cattle-building, yet I will have joy in the Lord. I will be glad in the God Who saves me."(Habakkuk 3: 17-18).
¿Are we dispose today to rejoice?
